## Scope

Applies to Company (Allied Assist / CVA), focusing on virtual assistant services across diverse industries and addressing potential conflicts between personal interests and professional duties.

## Audience

All Company personnel — full-time employees, part-time workers, and external contractors providing virtual assistant services across the US region.

## What is a conflict of interest?

A conflict of interest arises when an employee’s or contractor’s personal interests or activities interfere — or appear to interfere — with their ability to act in the best interests of Company. Transparency and integrity are required in all US-based operations.

## Example

A virtual assistant contracted by Company who also works for a competitor in a similar capacity presents a conflict of interest: they might share confidential strategies or client information, which could unfairly impact Company’s market position.

## Guidelines

- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest to your manager or supervisor, ensuring clarity and transparency in all aspects of VA service provision.

- Do not engage in activities or transactions that create a conflict of interest unless explicitly authorized — including competing priorities between clients in the US market.

- Engaging in unauthorized conflict-of-interest activities or transactions is subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of contract.

Company is committed to maintaining stakeholder trust and confidence. This policy is an essential part of that commitment for the US virtual assistant industry.
