This SOP outlines the process for generating consistent, high-quality weekly social media content ideas, including captions, hooks, emojis, hashtags, calls to action (CTA), and corresponding graphic design concepts. This ensures that all posts are aligned with brand messaging, weekly themes, and content goals.2. SCOPE
This procedure applies to all team members responsible for:
Content planning
Caption writing
Graphic design
Scheduling and publishing posts
Applies to Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms used by the center or business.3. RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creator / Social Media Manager:
Generates weekly content themes and ideas
Writes captions with hooks, emojis, hashtags, and CTA
Graphic Designer:
Designs corresponding graphics based on the theme and caption
Administrator / Client:
Reviews and approves content before scheduling
❶ Collect Inputs & Weekly Themes
a. Identify the theme or marketing focus for the upcoming week. Examples: Enrollment, Hiring, Events, Reminders, Seasonal Themes, Learning Activities. b. Review any important announcements, promotions, or updates that must be included. c. Confirm brand guidelines (colors, fonts, tone, logo placements).
❷ Plan Content 2 Weeks in Advance
a. Each batch must cover 14 days of content to maintain continuity and prevent gaps.b. Prepare a content calendar outlining:
Posting dates
Daily theme (e.g., Motivation Monday, Tip Tuesday, Feature Friday, etc.)
Caption idea
Graphic concept
Notes for hashtags or CTAs
❸ Create Content Ideas for Each Day
For every post, identify the following:
Topic (e.g., Activity Highlight, Center Feature, Parent Tip, Testimonial)
Angle or message focus
Intended audience (parents, leads, staff, etc.)
❹ Draft Captions

4.4.1. Include a Hook (First Line)
The first line must grab attention and stop scrolling. Examples:

4.4.2. Add Emojis
Use emojis to match tone and improve readability:
Replace bullets with emojis

Avoid excessive or unnecessary emoji use

Each caption must end with one clear CTA:

❺ Create Graphic Design Concepts for Each Post
Each content idea must have a corresponding graphic brief containing:

5.3. Theme Consistency
Ensure all graphics follow the weekly theme or campaign look.

For each week, prepare:
Content Calendar
14 Captions
14 Graphic design briefs
Design folder (PSD/Canva files or final images)
Hashtag set for the week
CTA variations to rotate
❼ Internal Review
Before sending to client: a. Check spelling and grammar b. Ensure hooks are strong and engaging c. Verify hashtag relevance d. Confirm graphic instructions are clear e. Ensure overall theme consistency f. Check calendar for duplicates, errors, or missing days
❽ Client Review & Approval
