Purpose
Weekly subsidy attendance entry for GACAPS (Georgia Childcare and Parent Services) so low-income families’ childcare subsidies process correctly.
Frequency & Scope
Every Monday before 5:00 PM. Currently PELA only (MDD related for subsidy coordination). Clock time in Hubstaff under “GACAPS Attendance Entry.”
Background
Weekly recharge is typically $100; some families may owe only $25 under their agreement. Attendance must be submitted weekly to release payment.
Process
1. Receive attendance from the director by email each Monday.
2. Review for completeness; check Playground only if entries are unclear or missing.
3. Submit to GACAPS before 5:00 PM.
4. Save confirmation/screenshot.
Notes
Ga Pre-K students should generally be filed as BA with variable scholarship — flag full-time scholarships to Ms. Erica except when school is out. Attendance accuracy affects subsidy payment and family billing.
