Harassment and Discrimination Policy

## Scope and Purpose

Applies to all work-related interactions among CVA and Allied Assist staff, contractors, clients, partners, and vendors across Slack, Teams, email, phone, and video. The workplace must remain safe, respectful, and free from harassment, discrimination, and abuse.

## Prohibited Conduct

Harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination based on protected characteristics, bullying, intimidation, humiliation, and deliberate disruption of another person's work are prohibited.

## Professional Standards

Treat team members, clients, and partners respectfully. Use professional language, recognize cultural diversity, and avoid offensive or exclusionary behavior.

## Reporting and Investigation

Anyone experiencing or witnessing misconduct should report it immediately to Management or HR. Reports may be confidential and will be investigated promptly, fairly, and thoroughly. Retaliation is prohibited.

## Client Conduct and Responsibilities

The same standards apply to clients. Staff must notify Management of client misconduct. Staff and EAs/SPMs must report and escalate; Management/HR investigates, documents, and takes corrective action.

## Enforcement

Confirmed violations may result in corrective action up to immediate contract termination. Severe or criminal conduct may be referred to legal authorities. Review annually or when laws change.
