Purpose
Standardize duplicating an approved menu from one site to another so multi-site food-program menus stay consistent, reduce re-entry errors, and support reporting for Sonya Hickey’s organization.
Scope
Administrators and authorized menu editors with permissions on both source and destination sites. Covers daily, weekly, or monthly menu copy.
Prerequisites
• Signed in to the Admin/Provider dashboard with multi-site menu-edit rights.
• Source menu complete and reviewed.
• Destination date range clear of conflicts, or overwrite permitted.
Procedure
1. Sign in to the Admin/Provider dashboard.
2. Open Menus / Meal Planning / Calendar / Food Program (label varies by system).
3. Select the site that already has the completed menu.
4. Choose Copy, Duplicate, Apply Menu to Another Site, Create Template, or Copy Week/Month. Check the top-right menu, ••• menu, or Tools/Actions if the control is not on the main screen.
5. Select the date range (day, week, or month).
6. Choose one or more destination sites.
7. Confirm/Save/Apply/Copy.
8. Verify the destination calendar: meals and dates correct, no missing items or unintended overwrites. Lock finalized menus when the system allows.
Best Practices
• Maintain a master menu and weekly/monthly templates.
• Standardize naming/format across sites.
• Limit edit permissions; spot-check after each duplication.
