# QuickBooks Bookkeeping Support
Scope and Boundaries
Review bank feeds, categorize clear transactions, match receipts, reconcile assigned accounts, prepare requested reports, and flag missing information. Do not make tax, payroll, payment, transfer, loan, owner-draw, or accounting decisions without approval.
Workflow
Review the assigned task, client, date range, account, priority, and instructions.
2. Open the correct QuickBooks company through approved access.
3. Review dates, vendors, amounts, receipts, invoices, and suggested matches.
4. Categorize only when the purpose is clear; document unclear items instead of guessing.
5. Attach receipts and reconcile only against the correct statement, escalating differences.
6. Review invoices and bills and prepare requested reports without interpreting tax or legal meaning.
7. Update the task with work completed, questions, blockers, and next steps.
Escalate
Escalate payroll, taxes, loans, transfers, owner draws, duplicates, deletions, reconciliation differences, bank changes, unusual or personal transactions, and any unclear business purpose. Written approval is required before payments, invoices, journal entries, account changes, tax settings, or financial advice.
