Review And Finalize Meal Production Records

Purpose

Review and finalize the Meal Production Record (MPR) in My Food Program (MFP) each day. The MPR records quantities prepared, served, and left over based on the final meal count; it does not change menu items.

Procedure

Step 1: Sign in to MFP through the organization’s approved password manager and finalize the previous day’s meal counts first.

Step 2: Select the previous day, open each meal service, and choose Meal Production Record.

Step 3: Select Estimate Food Production so MFP calculates estimated quantities from the finalized number of meals served.

Step 4: Review and adjust the amount prepared, amount leftover, and amount served using the appropriate units, such as cups, ounces, or pounds. Enter what was actually prepared and served.

Step 5: Save the record and verify that all components are accounted for and align with the final meal count.

Step 6: Repeat the review and save steps for every meal served at the site for the previous day.
