### **PURPOSE**
 
This procedure defines the expectations and activities for **Weeks 5–8** of Sr. Project Manager training.
During this phase, the SPM practices **consistent ownership behaviors**, begins **directing execution**, and takes a more active role in **client momentum and team guidance**, while still operating under leadership oversight.
This phase prepares the SPM for future full ownership without removing training support.
 
### **SCOPE**
 
This procedure covers:
 
- Practicing ownership of client momentum
 
- Guided control of task prioritization
 
- PM coaching and execution alignment
 
- Workflow and system discipline
 
- Risk identification and response
 
- Structured escalation and feedback loops
 
This procedure does **not** authorize full independent accountability or final decision authority.
 
### **WEEKS 5–6: GUIDED OWNERSHIP & DIRECTION SETTING**
 
### **Objective**
 
Build consistency in leadership behaviors and decision-making while maintaining support and feedback loops.
 
## ❶ Client Leadership Practice (Weeks 5–6)
 
**SPM Responsibilities:**
 
- Lead portions of client strategy or accountability calls
 
- Clearly articulate:
 
- Client priorities
 
- Next steps
 
- Ownership expectations
 
- Reinforce timelines and follow-through
 
**Boundaries:**
 
- Leadership reviews major directional changes
 
- Commitments impacting scope or hours must be aligned
