Purpose
Update daily menu records in KidKare accurately and recalculate meal claims. Convert quantities to the required ounce unit under Actual Quantity Served so meal records support compliance and reporting.
Procedure
1. Sign in to KidKare through the organization’s approved password manager.
2. Open Menus/Attendance → Daily Menu and select the date to update. Review each listed meal, such as breakfast, lunch, and PM snack.
3. Use Actual Quantity Required as the source for the conversion. For each item, select the plus sign under Actual Quantity Served.
4. Change the unit to ounces (oz) for solid foods or fluid ounces (fl oz) for milk and juice. Enter the converted quantity and save.
5. Repeat for every applicable meal and verify that all saved quantities are complete and consistent with the source requirements.
