Verify Meal Counts Attendance In KidKare

Purpose and scope

Compare the prior day’s attendance and meal counts between Playground and KidKare for each assigned center. Record exceptions, notify the appropriate director, and update the assigned task.

Procedure

  1. Open the assigned task and confirm the centers and prior-day date to review. Sign in to Playground and KidKare through the organization’s approved password manager; do not record credentials.

  2. 2. Select the same center in both systems. Verify the center name and date before reviewing records. Repeat the full process for every assigned center.

  3. 3. In Playground, open Reports → Attendance → Attendance – Daily. Set both the Start Date and End Date to the previous day and generate the report.

  4. 4. In KidKare, open Menu/Attendance → Attendance & Meal Count and select the matching center and date.

  5. 5. Compare attendance and meal counts. Use Playground check-in/check-out times as the attendance basis. In KidKare, review attendance (ATT) and meal counts for breakfast (B), lunch (L), and PM snack (P).

  6. 6. Check the assigned meal windows: breakfast 7:30–9:00 a.m., lunch 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., and PM snack 1:00–3:00 p.m. Confirm the meal counts are appropriate for the classroom and date.

  7. For PM snacks, include counts only for the specified classrooms: MDD 5–7 years and 8–12 years, and PELA Successful School-Agers. Confirm the current assignment if classroom names have changed.

  8. List only discrepancies or names missing from one system. Do not report a person who has attendance but no meal count when the assignment requires reporting only missing attendance with meal counts.

  9. Send the completed update to the designated center director and copy the assigned program contact using the organization’s approved communication channel. Do not place credentials or unnecessary personal data in the message.

  10. Update the assigned ClickUp/Worklenz task with the date, center(s), result, exceptions, and next action. Change the task status when appropriate.
