Verify the students from Brightwheel to Kidkare.
Purpose
The purpose of this task is to make sure all student enrollment information from Brightwheel is verified and updated correctly in KidKare, keeping records accurate and complete for reporting and eligibility tracking.
 
## Step 1

To begin, we will log in to the account of Ms. Shaniqua in Brightwheeland KidKare.

First, click on Send eForms.

Let’s take Addison Batiste as an example. For the child’s details: enter First Name > Last Name > Birthday > Classroom. For the guardian details, click on New, then enterrelations to the child thenFirst Name > Last Name > Email.

After that, if you want to check the eForm, if they already filled the form, you can go to eForm > View Status.

They should be in one of the following statuses: Not Started means they haven’t started filling out the form, In Progress means they are still filling it out, and Submitted (Parents) means the form has been submitted by the parents

Once you see that the parents have submitted the form, you can activate the child in KidKare. Go to Children > List Children, then scroll down—you should see them under Pending, which means you are the only one they’re waiting for.

After that, download the Enrollment Form and Income Eligibility form. Then, go to List Children and click on the pending child you want to work with. Once you're in their profile, click onEdit—there you'll find some forms you need to fill out in order to activate the child.

After clicking Edit, you can start filling out the form. Simply complete the required fields, and if you can’t find some information—like the Enrollment Date—you can refer to the Enrollment Form you downloaded earlier. For the Original Enrollment Date, you can find it in the child’s profile in Brightwheel.

After that, scroll down to Contacts, then click on the little orange pencil icon. There, you can edit the Primary Contact Details of the guardian. You can find all this information in their profile inBrightwheel

After that, you can input their schedule, using the Enrollment Form as the basis.

Oncefinished updating the schedule, we'llproceed to CACFP—just like the others, click the edit icon, then go to their Enrollment Form. You can see the approved types of meals the parents want. As we can see here, they want Breakfast; we will not include AM Snack because they don't serve it. Then select Lunch and PM Snack.

For their Reimbursement Level, we'll find it under Income Eligibility and base it on the Standards of Eligibility—you can find that in Outlookor in the form if they have a Case Number. As we can see here in the form, their income is just $1,500 monthly and there are 2 people in their household. According to the Standard, for Free Meals, any income at or below $2,292 qualifies. For Reduced Meals, income at or below $3,261 qualifies. Any amount above that will require the family to pay for their child's meals, remember the Standard of Eligibility is based of the count of people in a household.

Once confirmed, simply select Free, Reduced, or Paid, then forFRP Basis, select based on the Income Eligibility Form.
